Product Features Overview

This hybrid system consists of a 1.5T turbocharged engine + dual electric motors + power battery pack. Unlike the Toyota Twin Engine hybrid technology, the engine in this hybrid system is not directly involved in the drive, but is mainly responsible for charging the motors, which is actually the role of a range extender, so the Kizashi e-Power is indeed a 100% electric drive model.
The two motors have a total horsepower of 340ps and a total power of 525N-m, which is even better than the fuel version of the Kizashi in terms of power. As it is 100% electric drive, the Qijun e-Power starts off relatively briskly and drives smoothly, with positive power response as the power follows when the accelerator pedal is lightly pressed. In addition, since the engine is not directly involved in the drive, but only responsible for the conversion of electrical energy, to a certain extent, it reduces the frequency of starting, and there is almost no noticeable noise, which makes the Qijun e-Power drive more like a purely electric model.
Unlike plug-in hybrid models, the Qijun e-Power does not need to be charged, so it is only equipped with a power battery of only 2.1 kWh, and the smaller size of the battery saves space and reduces the weight of the body to a certain extent, and also reduces the energy consumption to a certain extent, and according to the official data shows that the WLTC comprehensive fuel consumption is as low as 6.36L/100km. At the same time, this power battery also supports the flash charging and discharging function, which can release the power instantly at high speeds and bring a sense of acceleration.
